I created Boutstix after attending a wedding and like most people, very challenged with trying to pin on the boutonnieres for the groomsmen. After numerous attempts, I said those famous last words to myself... there has to be a better way!
I took my idea to my sister, who is a florist and said, "The heck? Why are florists still using pins?" She told me the reasons why and we grabbed a napkin and started working on the perfect boutonniere magnet.
Boutstix are now available at every major wholesaler in North America and now worldwide through our on-line store.
Along the way I’ve learned many wonderful things. That it’s okay to take risks, it's ok to say you don't know, that there is always room for a little prayer and patience, and most of all, sometimes it is the smallest things that make the biggest difference. I work at making small changes to continually improve my product and service for my customers.
It’s been a long time since I fought with that boutonniere, but the journey from there to here has been fun. Now it’s time for the next phase...
